Mastery Challenges for English Lessons
These are designed to be given as the highest level of differentiation for your More Able/G&T pupils in English lessons.
The concept is that they are given the chance to pick out a card as a luck dip and it reflects how they have to approach the challenge/activity. For example whilst others are answering comprehension questions the more able are given the task of rewriting the scene from another point of view etc. The cards are very self explanatory. I have included an editable version to allow freedom to adapt for your own pupils.
These have worked really well in my class and are a great carrot and stick activity for those who don't always challenge themselves.
